really fond of the aesthetics of this game excited to see how the second level comes together with what was in the first level. The jumps are at the perfect level of difficulty to not be trivial but also not make me just give up after a few tries. I'm not sure how I triggered it but there was a decently big bug in the first level that just allowed me to basically fly which I'm sure wasn't intentional. but over all it plays really well and I'm excited to see where you take it.
I do agree that some of hit boxes could be adjusted, sometimes jumping felt very finicky and I would get caught on a few of them. The red triangle at the end also doesn't trigger anything even though it feels like its supposed to. Other than that this is super cool and I can't wait to see it with the rest of the assets! :)
The art style for this game is wonderful and extremely charming. I feel it adds a lot to the overall mood and aesthetic presented. I did find the part core a bit frustrating but that may be just because I'm not very good at it. There were a few jumps i kept hitting my head on some branches above. The linear drag is also not in my favor, when you fall off it is not very forgiving but I do think that it leaves a level of ambition and challenge. However being honest, I did rage quit and had to come back to it but that again may be a skill issue. I will say I eventually made it to the second level and something that could defiantly be added is some kind of check point or save after talking with the entity. When I fell during that part core I was sad I was put all the way back tot he start. I cant wait to see how the artwork looks for the second level and how the story progresses.
the art is super nice already, I like your level design, and I love the vibe!!! I do think the jumping could be made higher because I found myself barely making a jump / getting my head stuck
